Biggest surprise QB
Andy Dalton
This quarterback has been ridiculed in the past for his production of interceptions, all while making some big plays along the way. It is now the halfway point of the fantasy football season, and this quarterback is producing the statistics to be considered a top-10 quarterback in this league. He has the weapons of his receivers supporting him, we will see if he can maintain or accelerate his current production.
Biggest bust QB
Marcus Mariota
This quarterback was holding such high expectations by himself and others coming into the current season, but realistically with a coaching change and new offensive system there had to be some growing pains in the beginning. The injury to Marcus Mariota certainly is not helping his situation at all, which is apparent in his play week in and week out. We will see if improvements can be made for the latter half of the season.
Possible second half of season breakout QB
Jameis Winston
Since returning from suspension and re-taking over the starting quarterback position for his team, the true leadership qualities are becoming more and more apparent. We can expect continued excellent production from this quarterback throughout the rest of the season with his suspension out of the way. Hopefully the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive line can hold up as it has.
