Derrick Brown has officially signed with Carolina. The Panthers are the first club to sign their 2020 first-rounder. Usually it can take some time for a number of first-rounders to ink their deals, that was not the case for the number 7 pick. The Auburn defensive tackle’s deal is four years, 23.621 million. The contract is fully guaranteed.
Brown is a starter on this defensive line. He will be an important piece, as the Panthers try to rebuild a front that was exposed last season. His presence alongside Kawann Short, and Brian Buns will be a thing to watch this season.
