Formula One officially announced today the addition of 3 more Grands Prix to the 2020 season calendar. As reported by the sport’s Official website, the races in Portugal, Germany and San Marino will be hosted this fall, with a two-day event on San Marino’s Imola. Here is the schedule:

October 9 to 11 – Nurburgring (Germany)

October 23 to 25 – Portimao (Portugal)

October 31 to November 1 – Imola

As exciting this news can be, it does not come without its price. Unfortunately for North and South Americans, the Grands Prix in Canada, US, Mexico and Brazil will not be added to the 2020 season. The three newly-added events extend the current calendar from 10 to 13 races, which is just several events short of the expected 15 – 18 total events for this year. As of now, it does look like 2020 will be a rather “European Formula One” season, with some hopes to race in the Persian Gulf sometime in December.

SkullKing Sports will keep you posted on any upcoming changes to the 2020 racing calendar.
