The Carolina Panthers continue to add depth at the linebacker position. The team signed Adarius Taylor and claimed undrafted rookie Kyahva Tezino off waivers from the Patriots.
Panthers fans may recognize Taylor. Back in 2014 the undrafted rookie out of Florida Atlantic played in 10 games for Carolina. A majority of his play was on special teams. At that time he was known as Adarius Glanton. Taylor changed his last name in 2018 to honor his late farther who passed away when Adarius was 9. Taylor spent last season with the Browns appearing in 15 games.
Kyahva Tezino is out of San Diego State. The 6 foot 5, 235 pound linebacker played in 48 games for the Aztecs recording 290 tackles, 15.5 sacks, two interceptions, five passes defended, and two forced fumbles. Tezino was first team All-Mountain West in 2018 and 2019. He joins a list of four other undrafted rookie linebackers that the Panthers have brought in.
