As the Pittsburgh Steelers prepare for their week one matchup with the New York Giants, the team seems to be pretty healthy.
There has not been a lot of injuries this offseason for the Steelers which is huge and a big positive. Leading into week one, the only players that have been on any reports have been a second-year wide receiver, Diontae Johnson, and mainstay veteran offensive guard David DeCastro.
According to steelers.com, the only players that didn’t practice on Saturday were DeCastro and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who was held out as a coach’s decision. On that same report, it was said that DeCastro will be ruled out for week one. Stefen Wisniewski will get the start and will see his first action as a Steeler, as he played for the Superbowl champions Kansas City Chiefs last year.
