The Colts play host to the Jets this Sunday, September 27th. The game will be part of the 2nd group of afternoon games. Colts are coming off a 28-11 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The team rebounded from the week 1 upset to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Rookie Jonathan Taylor filled in nicely for the injured Marlon Mack. Taylor was handed the ball 26 times, and converted that in to 101 yards. Both the offense and defense looked improved from week 1. Rivers lone interception came of the hands of TE Moe Allie Cox. Rivers was efficient, completing 19 of 25 passes. The Colts got back to their strength of running the ball, and the defense produced several turnovers, as the Colts got their first win of the year.
The Jets enter week 3, winless, coming off a 31-13 home loss to the San Francisco 49ers. The Jets struggled to convert in the red zone. Pundits are already referring to the Jets as the worst team in the NFL. The Colts, via the Draft Kings line, are -11.
