Aaron Kagan gives a couple of QBs to Start and a couple to Sit in this week’s fantasy football matchups.

Start

Jared Goff VS New York Giants

After last week and the Los Angeles Rams slow start, Jared Goff will look to take apart the defense with his passing game. This will mean fantasy point production right from the beginning of the game. Consistency at the quarterback position is difficult to find in a player, but Jared Goff displays this attribute to the fullest extent. With his wide receiver group mostly healthy, he will have his main weapons available for this game. Start him with confidence in this home game where they should be a large number of points being scored.

Joe Burrow VS Jacksonville Jaguars

Starting a rookie quarterback is a difficult thing to do especially at the beginning of a season, but this is a situation that calls for it. This player has only been getting better week after week and looks to continue this progression. The defense of the Jacksonville Jaguars is not at the level it needs to be in order to compete in their division. This rookie will look to take advantage of Any opportunity he has in front of him. Start him this week knowing that he has a very good matchup that will play out surprisingly high scoring.

Sit

Carson Wentz at San Francisco 49ers

Difficulties arise for a quarterback when their team is riddled with the injuries. That is the case with the Philadelphia Eagles and their wide receivers. with Alshon Jeffery not returning this week, the situation does not get any better. There are questions about who is capable of catching the ball on their roster, and I’m sure Carson Wentz will make the best of what he has available. From a fantasy perspective, this offense should be avoided. Look for an alternative quarterback to start this week.

Kirk Cousins at Houston Texans

Though he played fairly well for the first time in the season last week, this quarterback cannot be trusted playing on the road against a tough pass defense. The emergence of rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson will help his case, but he simply can’t be relied upon for fantasy point production. Look for a replacement on your waiver wire to start this week.
