Week 8 TEs to Play/Avoid – Dante Pitts

by Dante Pitts

We are already past the midway point of the fantasy season. Some owners may be looking for a boost to solidify their playoff runs, or some of you may be trying to avoid coming in last place. I’ll give you some picks at the Tight End positions that can help you out during week 8.

Jack Doyle: Without Andrew Luck at the helm of the Indianapolis Colts offense they have been terrible this season. Jacoby Brissett is beginning to struggle dearly as evident as the beat down they received via the Jacksonville Jaguars. But there is a bright spot in their offense, Jack Doyle. Doyle continues to be one of Brissett’s top targets this season so look for that to continue with a match-up against the Cincinnati Bengals in week 8.

Austin Seferian – Jenkins: If you have been paying attention to my live segments on the Skullking Football social media pages then you know how high I have been on ASJ and this week will be no different. The ceiling is high for the

Tyler Kroft: Kroft will be one of the more popular streaming options this week as the Colts are in the top-10 in FPPG to opposing TEs. He has 3 touchdowns in 4 games and will more than likely make it 4 out of 5 in his upcoming matchup.

O.J Howard: I know O.J. Howard may seem like an attractive option after his breakout game but Cameron Brate is in town and O.J. Howard will continue to be a blocker in the Tampa Bay offense. I don’t forsee Howard being the primary TE anytime soon but eventually he will be.

Vernon Davis: Although Jordan Reed appears to be back at full health (which I’m not sure what full health is for him). Vernon Davis has been able to be productive with him on the field. I would be cautious with Jordan Reed as he will hinder some of Vernon Davis’s production.
