Drew Lock
6’4 225 lbs. Senior
2018 statistics
3,498 passing yards, 28 passing touchdowns, 8 INT thrown
Strengths
Accurate deep-ball thrower – is able to put the ball right on target from exceptional distance.
Experience – with 40 total college football starts in his career, he is arguably the most experienced quarterback currently in question to get drafted early.
Arm Strength – not only is he accurate, but he has the arm strength to get the ball into any window that he wants on the field.
Weaknesses
Poor footwork – this would cause him issues when having to escape the rush. Struggles through progressions – this emphasizes the fact that short and intermediate throws are not his strong point.
Smallest hands in this class – others have found much success with small hands, it is just a negative physical aspect to consider.
Overall
Drew lock has the work ethic and swagger to succeed in this league. His perspective on working hard and modeling his game after a successful quarterback really does show in his practice effort. If he falls beneath the first round, he will be a steal for any team that decides to draft him. There is a possibility of a superstar quarterback within him
