Speed – Love possesses tremendous speed. If he gets an open hole and gets to the secondary, he won’t be caught. He has the ability to make a defender take a bad angle and he can outrun them easily. His speed is his best trait as a runner and draws comparisons to Chris Johnson.
Vision – Love has great vision as a runner. He consistently finds the open hole and will lead to big plays in the near future.
Power – Love isn’t a power back and he isn’t your ideal in-between the tackles runner. This can limit his goal line opportunities.
Durability – His 2018 season was a disappointment compared to his 2017 season due to injuries. It is always worrisome when a running back has an ACL tear. If he can overcome his injury risks, he can pay dividends to the team that drafts him.
Bryce Love is a great speed back and he has great potential as an NFL running back. His speed allows him to break open game changing plays. Love will need a good o-line to give him an open hole and then he can take it from there. He has some obstacles to overcome with injuries but he has great potential as a running back in the NFL.
