Jennings has good body control, making catches downfield and has good field awareness when making sideline catches. He has good size and speed overall and his toughness allows him to make tough contested catches. Jennings is tough to bring down and is someone that is used a lot for bubble screen plays.
His footwork need tuning, he has below average burst when making his cuts and doesn’t have great acceleration which makes it harder for him to get separation downfield.
Jennings is a decent receiver and has some good qualities. He was a returner for his first couple of years at WVU and I believe that he can still be a returner at the next level if need be. Jennings has good size and strength and will be a good backup, if he is able to tone his footwork he should be able to be a starting receiver. My perfect team fit for him would be the 49ers, Shanahan is a solid offensive coach and should be able to use Jennings in the proper way, along with this giving Jimmy Garoppolo a new weapon would never hurt.
