5’10”, 202 lbs
224 carries, 1,178 yards, 10 touchdowns.
A strong, downhill runner who can see lane development early during plays. Rarely fumbles and typically falls forward, gaining extra yards after initial contact.
Considered “undersized” in relation to his physical running style. Has shown average burst of speed when getting to the side lines and when making cuts.
Higdon possess good vision on the field. He is able to locate holes in the offensive line quickly and able to put together multiple cuts while heading downfield. Due to his smaller frame, he will not be a workload back at the next level. Higdon does not have a lot of receptions in his career, and may not be a pass catching option in the next level. He will be favorable in a power rush/gap offense and rely heavily on a good offensive line at the next level.
