Keelan Doss

6’2’’ 211 lbs

2018 Stats

118 rec 1334 yards 9 TD

Strengths

Doss has impressive field awareness which gives him the ability to make immaculate toe tap catches on the sideline. He has a great hands and is able to pluck the ball out of the air and run with it, Doss has a nicely developed route tree that should translate to the next level.

Weaknesses

Doss does not have breakaway speed which makes it a bit difficult for him to get good separation from defenders and has trouble against press corners. He never really played any AP top 25 teams in 2018 so his stats may be inflated due to the lack of competition at the level he was at.

Overall

Doss is a smart receiver with soft hands and great field awareness. He has a large frame that helps make contested catches in traffic and is a solid receiver overall. He is pretty developed already and could be slotted into multiple different systems as a slot receiver. His lack of burst hurts his draft value and pushes him into more of a back wide receiver roll. My perfect team fit for him would be the Bills, Doss can be a solid slot receiver with good hands and the Josh Allen needs a receiver who can catch a ball with a bit of zip on it. He is someone I see going on day three of the draft but could be a late round gem going into the 2019 season.
