NHL Battle for East Heats Up

Our first of 2 semifinal matchups will be against the Boston Bruins and the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Bruins lost to the Columbus Blue Jackets in their exhibition game once entering the bubble, 4 – 1, and haven’t looked back. The team blazing a trail for themselves straight to Round 2. As for the Tampa Bay Lightning, they beat out the Columbus Blue Jackets in a 4 – 1 series, after the Columbus Blue Jackets swept them last year. Each team would love nothing more to go on to the conference final, but first, they have to get through each other. The battle begins tonight, check your local programing for puck drop time!
In our second NHL East matchup, we have the Philidelphia Flyers against the New York Islanders. The Philidelphia Flyers have drive on, and off the ice, as they play for their starter goalie. Gallagher is now out with a broken jaw from the previous round, and as many teams rally around their goaltender, I believe these men will put up a fight to make him proud. As for the Islanders, their final game against the Washington Capitals in Round 1 resulted in a 4 – 0 shutout. Enough said. This series will also kick off tonight, check your local programing for put drop times! Good luck to all teams, and may the best two won and advance to the anticipated conference finals!
