Stars and Avalanche Will Meet for Game 7

Yes, you read that right, the Colorado Avalanche has forced a Game 7 against the Dallas Stars. Just a few days ago the Stars could have ended this Round 2 Series with a win in Game 5, but that didn’t happen, as the Avalanche came out ready to play. Knowing their season was on the line, the Avalanche fought hard, and here we are with them winning Games 5 and 6, we now need a Game 7 to now break this 3 – 3 series tie.
Last night’s game was fairly even in the beginning, tired 1 – 1 after Period 1, but then the Avalanche got to work. The Stars would not score again, as the Avalanche defense blocked any shot coming towards their net. On the offensive side, the Avalanche scored 2 goals in Period 2, followed by another single goal in Period 3, resulting in their 4 – 1 win in Game 6.
Game 7 will be tomorrow evening, and it will be everything for these two teams, as both have fought hard, but only one can advance to the West Conference Final. This is the time to lay it all out, the team who wants it more will certainly be the team to skate away with the win, and extend their 2019 – 2020 season further. Who that could be is anyone’s guess, as the Avalanche was down 3 – 1 in this series just days ago, and have now hit their win streak stride to get to a Game 7. As for the Stars, this was the exact point they were out of the playoffs last year, Round 2 Conference Semifinals, Game 7. They each have a comeback story, one a few games in the making, the other a full season. I do not know who will win this battle, but surely know it is one I suggest you don’t miss!
