Max Domi: Newest Blue Jacket Trade

Earlier today the Columbus Blue Jackets traded long time Right Wing Josh Anderson, to the Montreal Canadian’s, for the 78th overall pick in this years 2020 Draft and new player Max Domi. So, who is Maxx Domi? In this Article I will lay out his prior teams, stats and what we hope to see him bring to the Columbus Blue Jacket’s going forward.
Max Domi is a 25 year old hockey player born in Winnipeg Canada. He was the 12th overall pick in the 2013 NHL Draft, selected by the Arizona Coyotes, he remained there for the 2015 – 2016, 2016 -2017, and 2017 – 2018 seasons. After he went to the Montreal Canadians for his 2018 – 2019 and 2019 – 2020 seasons. In his Playoff run with the Canadian’s he had no goals of his own, but did play in 10 games, and had 3 assists, resulting in 3 points. In his total career thus far he has played in 375 games, scored 81 goals of his very own, and helped fellow teammates with 170 total assists for goals. Within his last season (2019 – 2020) Domi played 71 games, scoring 17 goals and assisting with 27 others. This young man has plenty of potential as a center we already have conditioned players to put around. I admit, I questioned losing Josh Anderson until looking up this man’s stats, and now I think we’ve been given a gift from the Montreal Canadian’s.
Go Jackets!
