Del Zotto Scores 1-Year Deal with CBJ
We’ve added yet another defenseman to the ever growing CBJ lineup, Michael Del Zotto will join the team for this 2020-2021 season, with a two-way deal. He has already been working with the team, so if you have been watching scrimmages, you may have already seen him in action on the ice. Del Zotto comes from the Anaheim Ducks, where over 49 games in the 2019-2020 season, he scored 2 goals, and assisted with 13 others. He may be 30. but has plenty more games and scoring opportunities ahead of him. He has appeared in 567 NHL matches, and from those he’s held his own with 236 points. 56 of that total being his own goals while 180 were assists. He has been a part of several teams, but his most famed appearance you may remember is in 2019, when he helped the St. Louis Blues win their most recent Stanley Cup
