For the next 7 years you can now catch the NHL on one of it’s old station homes, ESPN. It’s been a staggering 16 years since this agreement has been a reality, and fans can now rejoice, as Disney owns both ESPN along with ABC. Both stations are part of this deal, which begins in the upcoming 2021-2022 NHL season. A total of 25 games per season, along with half the Stanley Cup Playoff games will be featured for the next 7 years, without question. In addition, one of these two stations will also showcase the Stanley Cup Final, for 4 of those contracted years.
If your a person with Disney+, you also know that there is such a thing as their bundle with ESPN+ and Hulu, you’re going to love this if you already have that. Next season, NHL.TV will be eliminated, and most out-of-market NHL games are going to go straight to ESPN+. If you just punched the air with joy, don’t feel weird, I did it too!
