As many Buckeye’s had hoped, Urban Meyer has finally selected a former Buckeye, in the 2021 NFL Draft. The Ohio State Tight End, Luke Farrell, will be heading down to Florida. It is now secret that the Jaguars aren’t the best team, hence the new coach, and having the first overall pick this draft.
That being said, picking players like top prospect Quarter Back Trevor Lawrence and Running Back Travis Etienne, is a great place to start. Now we add in a few offensive players to surround them, but also balance out the team with some defenders, and this team could be a playoff contender, as soon as next season.
I think adding Farrell is a great pick. He is smart, fast, and a great blocker. He will be valuable as this team builds around a new coach, and Quarter Back, should Lawrence get the start this upcoming season. Farrell will work with James O’Shaughnessy, as he continues to build, and improve, as an NFL player.
Buckeye Nation wishes you the best Ferrell!
