Double Overtime is Lucky For Predators!
It’s amazing to win a Stanley Cup Playoff game in double overtime, but it’s even better to do it in back to back games, to tie the series at home! What a game and what a team. With the Predators now tied with the Hurricanes, 2 games to 2, this series will see at least 6 games.
Kunin scored first in Period 1, and also scored last, with a flawless overtime goal. He never lost his focus, even after he broke his stick, returning to score that final goal, just moments later. If it hadn’t been for him, it would’ve been just over 3 minutes, to a third overtime. It may have been a shortened season, due to the pandemic, but lets face it, we’re certainly not getting cheated out of playoff hockey, that’s for sure!
Game 5, Predators @ Hurricanes, is Tuesday with a TBD time.
