Patrik Laine is the first of five Free Agents to accept his offer, presented to him, by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Although the offer is only for a year, it’s good to see a familiar scorer stick around for another season. This deal is for a cool 7.5 million, a fair price for a season of his talent. In just 41 games played, in a less than perfect season, he scored a total of 21 points. Imagine what he could bring to the ice in a good season, it will boost your hockey hopes after a painful weekend, I promise.
We can’t wait to see him back on the ice, in a Blue Jackets jersey soon; welcome back Laine!
