It’s been a wild day, but this may be one of the top, and best headlines, I’ve written so far. Sean Kuraly is coming home to Columbus! He has accepted the teams offer of $10 million, to be paid out over a four-year contract.
“He grew up in this area, won league championships in college at Miami, won a gold medal with Team USA at the World Junior Championships and was an important part of Boston’s Stanley Cup finalist team. He’s a winner and will be an important part of our leadership group as we move forward.” The Blue Jackets GM said, after the deal was done Wednesday.
The twenty-eight-year-old player comes to the Blue Jackets from the Bruins. Last season, he had nine points in a total of forty-seven game appearances.
It is very exciting to see the team of Columbus, slowly acquiring more of the city’s great hockey talent. Welcome back Kuraly, we can’t wait to see you opening night!
