Last night Nathen Gerbe posted a photo of himself, in a hospital bed, and ever since I’ve been on the case, trying to find out what was going on. Just as every fan, I was concerned, and today we have new information as to why the surgery took place. It was done on his hip, and currently the Forward is expected to take off anywhere between 4 and 6 months, to recovers and rehabs.
During last season he scored a total of 10 points for the Monsters, and 3 points for the Blue Jackets. We hope to see him well, and back on the ice, long before that 6 month mark.
Get well soon Gerbe!
