Yesterday, a hip injury forced Ryan Fitzpatrick to leave his Washington Football Team Behind. The team lost, barely, 20-16 against the L. A. Chargers. Today, an update has been given, and it isn’t the one fans or fantasy football contributors had hoped for. He will miss the second game of the season, for sure, against the New York Giants. That game will happen on Thursday Night Football.
In his early absence, Taylor Heinicke will take over as the Washington Football Teams QB. We got to see a bit of his skill yesterday, after Fitzpatrick’s injury. He went for 122 yards, and out of 15 throws he had 11 completions. Not too bad when you have to step up, as a backup, week one.
We’ll keep you posted on his return!
