Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets Home Win Streak Has Ended

Tonight, the Columbus Blue Jackets would fall for the first time at home.  In the first period, Fast and Svechnikov would score for the Hurricanes.  The Blue Jackets wouldn’t store in the first.  In the second period Jenner would score for the Blue Jackets, but sadly this would be the only Blue Jackets goal of the game.  After Staal would score for the Hurricanes.  They would have a 3-1 lead.  In the final period Aho and Trocheck would both score for the Hurricanes, with no answer from the Blue Jackets.  The final score would be 5-1.

It’s unfortunate as Korpisalo had many great stops in net, but this is his second loss now of the season, in two appearances.  Also, the offense for the Blue Jackets could’ve scored many times, it just didn’t happen.  The Blue Jackets will have a chance at redemption back in Nationwide Arena on Monday night, when the Stars come to town.  Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM.  We’ll see you then 5th line.
