This is the time for the fantasy football semi-finals, and to have success and make it to the championship your quarterback decision is so very crucial. Last week, if you were lucky enough to make it through the start of the playoffs, you didn’t listen to my advice most likely. I had recommended starting Sam Darnold, which was a very bad suggestion. I say that I practice what I preach, and started him in my most prestigious league, which I ended up winning thanks to Derrick Henry and David Montgomery. This week, I will be recommending solid starts & sits to hopefully help you make it to the championship.

Start

Nick Mullens at Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys defense has given up the most passing touchdowns in the league this season. Although he won’t have the services of Deebo Samuel, he will look to take advantage of The unknown weaknesses of the opposing defense. Look for a large amount of passing and hands fantasy production for Nick Mullens. Start him this week.

Ben Roethlisberger at Cincinnati Bengals

This quarterback needs to get his team back on track after two consecutive losses. He will respond in typical fashion in throwing for a ton of yards against a very weak defense. Although he hasn’t been producing points lately, started him this week to take you to the fantasy championships.

Sit

Mitchell Trubisky at Minnesota Vikings

This quarterback had an incredible performance last week, but we have seen this type of production before. It is not very sustainable and can’t be trusted to be reproduced against a divisional rival on the road. Look for an alternative quarterback if Mitchell Trubisky is your current starter. Reproducing his production last week will be difficult in this situation.

Cam Newton at Miami Dolphins

Facing a divisional rival on the road is a difficult task for any quarterback, even more so for the New England Patriots. Throwing for less than 300 passing yards in their last three games will not get the wind is needed to make a playoff push. This type of production will also get you illuminated from the fantasy football playoffs. Look for an alternative at the quarterback position to have a chance in the playoffs.
