Week 12 Sleeper WRs – Daniel Glasser

by Daniel Glasser

Curtis Samuel

This week Samuel has an interesting matchup against the New Orleans Saints. He will mostly be seeing coverage from Eli Apple who has played decent but has been allowing over 15 yards per reception, Curtis Samuel is top in deep targets while Apple ranks 49th in burn rate. Samuel has received 32 targets over his last four games with 15 receptions over that period(three of the four games with 4 receptions). He has been a rather consistent receiver this season with the ability to outperform his WR3 label with one big catch and with Samuel being 19th in the league in separation I see him being able to be a solid sleeper this week.

Danny Amendola

Amendola has sleeper potential this week against one of the worst secondaries in the league in the Washington Redskins. Since Driskell has stepped in for the Injured Stafford Amendola has received an average of 6.5 targets and an average of 4 receptions. Washington has allowed the 8th most passing TDs and has allowed the highest completion percentage in the league at 71.4%. Amendola should receive a decent amount of targets against a below average secondary and is a solid sleeper this week versus the Redskins.

Deebo Samuel

Deebo Samuel has been on the rise in the last couple of weeks and I believe he can continue on his success this week against the Packers. Over the past three weeks Samuel has had an increase in snap share and targets, 28 targets over the past three weeks and playing on average 76% of the snaps over that time period. Some of Samuel’s success can be put on the absence of George Kittle and Emmanuel Sanders, Sanders less than Kittle since he was able to play in bits of the last couple of games. Kittle hopes to return this week but his status is still up in the air, if he doesn’t play than Deebo can very easily repeat with a good amount of targets left behind with him out. If Kittle is a go then he is still a solid start but expectations should be tempered. Green Bay ranks 22nd in passing yards allowed and with Deebo 13th in the league in red zone targets week could see Deebo get his first TD since week 2.
